Services requested for a minor must be authorized by the minor’s parent, guardian or another legally authorized adult where applicable.

Information Provided by Clients

You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information needed for us to deliver the requested service.

You are responsible for checking all information, documents and instructions supplied to us. Blue Palm Consultants will not be responsible for delays, errors or unsuitable results caused by incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information provided by a client.

You must have permission to provide any personal, employment, organizational or third-party information shared with us.

Consultations and Professional Advice

Consultancy recommendations are based on the facts, documents and circumstances disclosed to us at the time of the engagement.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, our HR and career-development services do not constitute legal, financial, tax, immigration or medical advice. Clients should seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional where such advice is needed.

Training and Development Services

Training dates, venues, formats, facilitators and programme content may be confirmed separately for each engagement.

Participants are expected to attend on time, participate professionally and follow reasonable instructions issued by facilitators or venue administrators.

Where certificates or professional-development recognition are offered, eligibility may depend on attendance, participation, assessment or other programme requirements communicated in advance.

We may adjust facilitators, programme schedules, venues or delivery formats where reasonably necessary. We will endeavour to communicate material changes promptly.

Recruitment and Placement Services

Recruitment services may include candidate sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviews and placement coordination.

Employers remain responsible for final hiring decisions, employment terms, background checks, workplace compliance and the suitability of a selected candidate.

Candidates remain responsible for the accuracy of their qualifications, employment history, references, identification documents and other information submitted.

Blue Palm Consultants does not guarantee that an employer will select a particular candidate or that a vacancy will remain available.

Career-Development Services

CV writing, résumé development, cover-letter preparation, interview coaching and career guidance are intended to improve professional presentation and preparedness.

Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving completed documents before using or submitting them. Clients must not include false qualifications, experience or achievements in any career document.

Career-development services do not guarantee interviews, employment, promotion, immigration approval or any specific career outcome.

Fees and Payments

Fees will be communicated through a quotation, proposal, invoice, booking form or written confirmation.

• A deposit or full payment may be required before work begins or a booking is confirmed.
• Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in Kenyan shillings.
• The client is responsible for any applicable transaction or bank charges.
• Work may be suspended where an invoice remains unpaid after its due date.
• Final documents, reports or deliverables may be withheld until the outstanding balance is paid.

Additional work requested outside the agreed scope may be quoted and charged separately.

Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

Requests to cancel or reschedule a service should be submitted in writing as early as reasonably possible.

Deposits and payments may be non-refundable where work has commenced, resources have been committed, third-party expenses have been incurred or a reserved training or consultation slot cannot reasonably be reassigned.

Where Blue Palm Consultants cancels a paid service and cannot offer a reasonable alternative date, affected clients may receive a rescheduled service, service credit or an appropriate refund for the undelivered portion.

Any service-specific cancellation or refund terms communicated in a quotation, invoice or booking confirmation will apply alongside this section.

No Guarantee of Specific Results

We aim to provide professional, practical and high-quality services. However, outcomes may depend on factors outside our control.

We do not guarantee:

• Employment, promotion or candidate placement
• A particular business or workplace result
• Acceptance by an employer or institution
• Approval by a government or regulatory body
• A specific financial, professional or organizational outcome

Confidentiality

We will take reasonable steps to protect confidential information supplied during an engagement.

Confidential information may be disclosed where:

• The client has authorized disclosure
• Disclosure is required to deliver the service
• Disclosure is required by law or lawful authority
• The information is already publicly available

Clients must also protect confidential materials, templates, reports and proprietary information supplied by Blue Palm Consultants.

Personal Information and Privacy

We may collect information such as names, contact details, employment records, CVs, qualifications, training information and enquiry details where necessary to provide our services.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable Kenyan data-protection requirements and our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

Website content, training materials, templates, presentations, reports, graphics, branding and other materials created or supplied by Blue Palm Consultants remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

Ownership of client-supplied trademarks, documents and information remains with the client or their respective owner.

Suspension or Termination of Services

• The client materially breaches these Terms
• The client supplies fraudulent or unlawful information
• Continuing the service may breach professional or legal obligations
• There is abusive, threatening or inappropriate conduct

Termination does not remove a client’s obligation to pay for work already completed, committed expenses or other amounts properly due.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.

Where a dispute arises, the parties should first attempt to resolve it through good-faith discussion and written communication.

Where the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties may pursue mediation, another agreed alternative dispute-resolution process or the courts of competent jurisdiction in Kenya.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when our services, operations or legal obligations change.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website or services after an update means the new Terms will apply from their effective date.
